Yeah, it's a fair distance from where the away fans are housed down to that far end of the finest real estate in Trafford. I assume it was quite an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon?As someone who was in the away end, you're spot on. I think we all assumed that De Gea had tipped it round for a corner. Being where we were, and with the delayed reaction of the players, it was impossible to know that it had gone in. We weren't the only ones though. My boss - a United fan - was down near that corner where Bernardo celebrated and he didn't think it had gone in at first either. A City fan I work with was watching at home and he didn't know. Bernie's delayed reaction seems to be because after getting the touch he slid off the pitch and as he's sliding he's facing the opposite way so would've practically needed eyes in the back of his head to know straight away! Of course, I've watched it back since and a couple of players do have their arms in the air as soon as we scored but then don't start running to celebrate with him until a couple of moments later.
