Peps Targets

Not sure but we need a new quality spine to the team so for me, stones, pogba, Neymar and possibly 2 fullbacks depending on formation. Will be sad but think zabs will go, also Get rid of sag na (age), kolarov (age and quality) back up academy boys.
Demichelis (no comment), yaya (time up), cancellero (poor), Fernando (not good enough), bony ( not good enough).

Play 3 5 2 formation.

I hope so. Not sold on Mangala. And every summer we think we are fine, and then Komp goes down for a long period and we looked fukked.

Tbf I wanted mangala out but I think it would be interesting to see what pep does with him. He's still young and has time to develop. I wouldn't judge him when he's playing under you know who

Zabaleta----------------------------------Toure---------------------------------------------Bernat

-------------------------Weigl--------------------------Dahoud----------------------------------

-----------Silva-------------------------------------------------------------De Bruyne----------

------------------------------------------Aguero-----------------------------------------------------

Something like that wouldn't shock me. Maybe exchange Bernat for someone like Gaya at Valencia or Rodriguez at Wolfsburg, although they're really inconsistent this season. Could also swap Dahoud for Gundogan, although Dahoud is having a great year and is still very young, so might be worth a look. Same goes for Xhaka and even Stindl. Also wouldn't surprise me to see Sane come in or Inaki Williams. I think Zabaleta will get another year to impress, although he could move him or Sagna on and bring in Rafinha for a season or so while we wait to see how Maffeo progresses.

It would be nice if Pep could bring somebody from Bayern with him. But apparently he agreed not to IN BLOOD! Well (not really) but he said he wouldn't anyway. Sucks.

Toure won't be here next season

So everyone keeps saying. Pep will no doubt view football a little bit differently to most people on here though and i'd argue that he will want Yaya to stick around as he will be the only player in our squad who Pep will have worked with. I think Pep will use him much the same way as he uses Xabi at Bayern and i think it will make a lot of bluemooners eat some humble pie.

The difference though is that he unceremoniously dumped Toure out of the Barca squad for Biscuits, which seemed to piss him off. Added to him breaking his "No Twats Allowed" rule, I'd be surprised if he is still here.

He didn't exactly unceremoniously dump him. He wanted him to stay. Busquets only started around 15 extra games over the two seasons that they were in competition with each other. Yaya will still nearing 40 games a season under Pep. Given we have nobody remotely close to the quality of Busquets, or a Xabi Alonso, i'd imagine Pep will trust Yaya, even if he does eventually end up getting phased out of the starting 11 later down the line. I think he will stay personally, mainly because we have half a dozen other players which we need replacing, and a fair few of them are regular starters.
