I know a few on here like a moan about the club but our Youtube content is outstanding.
 
Great film and as dome have commented hats off again to our media content team who repeatedly think of new and innovative ways to promote the club.

Also great to see the media response with the mail, telegraph, mirror, Espn amongst others writing articles about the video

I was thinking the same. Over to the BT thread....

In all honesty I mentioned that to reinfoce how good a job the media team were doing, getting the message out, there than pointscoring (this time) in the Agenda debate

Admittedly I am not one to provide quantitative data by measuring column inches in papers for four months like the more obsessive agendarists.

But dont be swayed by the force of my personality. If your going to be part of my exclusive club, you need to follow your own path to enlightenment.
 
Can't help but feel that if United had a similar video it would be pushed very heavily in national media.

It took some finding in the Trollograph but so did anything about City.

I was waiting for this comment. Loads of positive coverage in the press and yet some are making hypothetical comparisons to put a negative spin on it. Lickle old city alive and kicking.

It's been pretty well received by everyone - well apart from those who called him a 'Bald nonce' on Twitter, but they're just mean.

It is a good positive video and it should be used to its max to counter the real negative stuff we get. Although on searching the internet I can now see it pops up a lot I was not be aware of it until I read of it on this site. As I said the DT had it hidden out of the way so 'loads of positive coverage' is something of an exaggeration.

If you honestly think that the well oiled and slick rag media office would not have made more of such a video than City's PR bunch - well, you are entitled to all your contra -opinions but it is no wonder that people think you make them just to be contrary.

You defend the press - I defend my club. Each to their own.

Well the last two paragraphs say it all.

It is YOU who is slagging the club off as the PR team is part of this wonderful club, which you have described in unflattering terms compared to Uniteds 'slick and well oiled machine'.

In contrast I am praising the innovative media and PR team for the video and positive media it has generated.

It speaks volumes you do not even realise it is you insulting the club not me.

I have never defended the press on this forum and unlike many who slag Bt/talksport/Sun etc they would never receive a penny of my money due to the quality of the output.

City have done a great job with this video and im also pretty sure we are not the first club to 'surprise' a fan with a meeting with a player/manager. However, with the innovative and creative way the video was produced the majority of papers and international broadcasters such as ESPN have spread the video globally. It is a fantastic piece of marketing and to suggest otherwise in my opinion is petty.

Anyway you keep watching fantastic media output by the club and then state Uniteds 'slick and oiled team, would have promoted it better. All in the name of defending the club. Bizarre.
