Pep's Taxi!

I'm not good with the area but it's at the bottom of Pilsworth rd, seems they have their own speedway track in there... The centre is the best, it's like an episode of the walking dead, I've seen more teeth on a newborn!!!

It actually used to be a nice town before Rochdale took over. It's gone steadily downhill since then, combined of course with it being built largely on the cotton industry. As soon as the mills closed the town was basically fucked.

I used to watch the strippers in the criterion on a Sunday afternoon in darnhill .
You never see pubs showing "exotic" dancers anymore. Bastards.

Good pub the Criterion, another one that's bit the dust.

And FFS, Why then, if they have being doing it for 30 years, has one not happened at a School near me or at where any of our friends children have gone to school?
Why don't you ring the club and ask! I'm sure it's a case of you haven't bothered to enquire or research it yourself, instead relying on word of mouth from friends and because nobody has mentioned it - you assume City doesn't do it. I'd have a look myself just to shut you up, if I did I'm sure I could find some CITC work in the areas you mention. I'm not sure the relevance of this or how this relates to your master plan of engaging supporters in place of the much maligned (exclusively by you incidentally) Pep's Taxi? I'm sure the club got the response it was looking for from what everyone else agrees is a great bit of PR.

Really?? I dropped one this morning at st Mary's in Heywood, they're going to another at the cooperative academy on Friday (blakely) - they're located in terms of accessibility, failsworth is hardly miles away from blakely...

Like I said, you've not really researched it, have you? https://www.mcfc.co.uk/~/media/Files/CITC/2015/Summer 2015 Layout (2).ashx

And Salford doesn't really come under the demographic, for obvious reasons but the main being its a rag infested locality!!
Cheers @Zin 'messiah' Zimmer saved me the bother? I can't believe anyone would resort to questioning the work CITC do or find it lacking in any way, they do some fantastic work.

I rang City and tried to get them into my school, the rags already do 2 6-week blocks of sessions for the kids, hence why they all bum the rags - I wanted City to get a look in too, and I could have easily got them in and got them kids to work with.

They weren't interested.

There is and always has been since the scheme started in 86, boundaries to stop clubs going into other local clubs areas. Salford is classed as a united area. We have had a regulator base at Failsworth High. Many a rag claim we are a Stockport club but CITC don't do many Stockport schools because that steps into County territory. Simple really.

All well and good but that doesn't explain why @The_Maverick's friend's kids haven't had it at their school and why he hasn't heard of the scheme in it's 30th year.
