Perception of City

Lets just say that we don't win the PL this season (purely hypothetical because we all know that we will) and Bobby does not sign any one in the Summer. He retains the current squad, minus Ade & the other deadwood, as it is.
We then go on and win the 2012/13 PL. If this was to happen, do you think other fans perception of MCFC will change i.e. we wont have bought the title because no new players have been added and if we win it it will be because we were the best team and not a collection of Mercs blah blah blah.

Long since given over thinking what other fans are thinking. They'd still find a bucket of shit to sling if we signed nobody and gave their team our best striker and Joe Hart!
