I listen to 5 live every day and Claridge whether you like him or not, knows what he's talking about. His opinions are usually backed up with decent facts. I admit it feels at times he has a grudge against us but usually he is not far from the truth. Saying that I'd have Marcotti anyday of the week, one of the best football analysts in the business
 
We have consistently had the fourth / fifth highest attendances in the country over the last nine seasons.

Others may prefer to use other means of measuring the size of a club such as shirt sales in Singapore but that is for them.

4th/5th out of 92 makes us a big club. The fact that he is comparing us unfavourably to Everton tells you what decade he is living in.
 
My issue is who cares, I'm sure there are 1,000s of rags that agree, we will go to the blue dippers next week and sure as hell they agree. Bottom-line is who gives a fuck?????? If I lived in Mansfield and supported Mansfield they would be a big and important club to me.
