@LongsightM13 The leaflet was a "Bring Our Troops Home" with a BNP logo on near his army regiment picture.

I doubt he knows what the BNP is, and it is obvious he isn't in great shape and probably the supporting the troops he was latching on too. That is it, one tiny poster, and you can infer from the way he presents himself he is prone to an aberration or accident, and is a vulnerable old man. I can understand why it pissed you off.

This isn't true at all, it was nothing to do with bringing troops home, it was typical BNP rhetoric in relation to European Parliamentary elections with no mention of the forces at all.

I thought that. It’s highlighted but on the original pic you have to zoom in to see it. I can see why it would offend people, but like you I don’t know him and from the outside to me he is just an eccentric old man who supports our club in his own unique way.
