Peter Drury replaces Martin Tyler on Sky Sports

Love it, as does Mrs Vienna. Mike is her all-time favourite player.

Thanks for posting.
And surely everyone's all time favourite pundit? :-)

I actually think he may have retired himself from punditry after his premonition of the sick swan - he'd reached the pinnacle of that particular line of work and bowed out on top!

If you listen Dennis all season to sly, radio, Tyler, etc. It’s Man City v Manchester United. When they talk about us it’s Manchester United sorry meant city. It’s too many times to be coincidence. We just have to get used to it, we broke up the monopoly of the top 4 and are the party poopers. If we won the Quadruple scored a1,000 goals won every game and kept clean sheets in all. The Rags trebble season would still of been a greater achievement as they were mostly home grown players etc, the bullshit they come out with.
Still doesnt come anywhere near explaining why a bt commentator called liverpool, not utd, "The Champions" ,mid way thru the season.
Its like they know how it will turn out...you just would not use that expression unless talking about Manchester City...

Think that was Fatman Pearce on the BBC, not BT.

Ok..but it was liverpool v brighton, neither of which have ever been prem champions..so what confused Pearce into making such a momentous error.. ?
Would like to ask Pearce, face to face.

I agree with you, baffling error to make for a main commentator, although if you ever heard his goalline tech meltdown during the Brazil World Cup, you'd think he was in the wrong job.
