A couple of times I did a double take at stuff he said.

"They're singing 'Come on City'....they used to sing this before they had money, and they still sing it now", something like that....just completely mundane, air filling soundbites.

Why can't there be an option to turn commentary off and just have the crowd sound?

I never watch pre or post match analysis, even if we are sublime. No point. Just wish we could have no commentators just crowd during the match...

We watched a few games at the Rio Olympics like that and it was weird.
