Yes he admitted it at his last ever Chelsea commentary game.

Football Focus had him on the pitch before kick off reporting on the team news and he had Chopper Harris with him.

He said something like; “I’ve never showed my allegiances as a commentator but I’ve been a lifelong Chelsea fan and am honoured to have one of my final commentary games here at Stamford Bridge today”
