He was more annoying than usual yesterday :

On United - FERNANDES good effort on target
- Close by Maguire (not even on target)
- Fernandes is player of month for third time
- Good response by United , Ole has beat Pep 3 times etc etc

On city - to many negatives to mention
- Sluggish , passing slow , this is not a Pep way of playing , not scoring enough goals , Foden not on , Foden not starting, missing David Silva, tactical foul by Fernandinho.

No impartiality at all. It’s like a Bingo card how many negatives can I get into the commentary.

His time must be up now, he’s 75 year old and turning into a mumbling mess, he’s going the same way motson did. There was 5 mins yesterday when it sounded like I was listening to someone visisting their dad in a nursing home. Tyler is truly terrible. He doesn't actually pay any attention to the match. He just blurts out anecdotes from his pre-prepared script. He and Neville did not read the game at all. He didn't know what formation City were playing or what was actually happening on the field. They spent about three minutes rambling on about previous Liverpool v Man United matches and the scoring record of Ian Rush v United. A total embarrassment, even by SKY's miserable standards.

Thing is the commentators back in the day let the football do the talking and would only talk when they absolutely needed to. Barry Davies was brilliant at that.

The man is an embarrassment to broadcasting. Fellow FOC's will recall Gerry Loftus in the early days of Granada TV. He was unbelievably pro-Rags, but Tyler beats him into a cocked hat.
