As clear as night and day the way he commentates on our games. Aguero moment apart, which to be fair was an historic piece of commentary, the rest of our games, his commentary is like we've shot his family when we score. He always shoe horns United in to our games he's commentating on. And is uber negative. Mentioning money and squad depth blah blah.

A commentator is supposed to be unbiased and neutral.

The polar opposite of this dinosaur.

Similar story to the media threads - people seem unable to differentiate somebody doing their job from their personal feelings.

Tyler’s job for many years was to commentate disproportionately more on United games than anyone else. The idea that he personally liked the club is not based upon reality, indeed his relationship with Ferguson off-mic was as frosty as any journalist, but he had a high-profile, well-paid job that required him to commentate on them for the people who paid Sky subscriptions and paid his salary.

Ultimately he was and is only a fanboy of himself, he’s obsessed with his ‘legacy’ of commentating on huge moments and anyone who has met him knows he has a huge soft spot for the Aguero moment. His recent morgue like tone on City matches simply follows an editorial line when City are winning a third title In a Row.

Correct. He's employed to give voice to the corporate narrative.

He will be replaced by something similar - or worse.

Does my head in. These highly paid people who’s only job is to ask interesting and insightful questions and the best they can do is: “How do you feel about x?” / “How important was y?” a thousand times a season.
