Unless my memory is playing tricks he has commentated on all three of our league defeats this season. So apart from anything else he is a curse as well! Please God don't let him do the Villa game!

Munich 50 year anniversary derby topped it for me. He was gutted when we scored our goals.

Odious, obnoxious shit. Can't hide his bias any more. Clearly dislikes City - listen to his commentary and you'll hear a dull, monotone voice when we have the ball - the opposition get it and he starts screaming and having fits in his unbridled excitement. He is synonymous with many of our great goals over the years. I have never found him to be bias at all, which some seem to think he is. His best moment this season is when the Korean player won the game for Sunderland Vs City

He is still one of the best around and should do more games. His "Macheeeeeda" bit is one of my favourites.

I can't think of anyone who commented positively on the positive things that happened during this season's European matches. Everything was just simple and matter-of-fact, and yet when the opposition seemed to do anything they seemed to be bouncing out of their chairs. More was made of our demise in the CL than MANUre's.

I used to think he was the best commentator around and still do think he is good by and large. There is no doubt though that recently he has sounded underwhelmed when we have scored but gone absolutely mental when teams have scored against us and gone ape shit when united have scored too. He's knocking on a bit now, maybe he's losing it.
