Dave Spikey and Neil Fitzmaurice still don't speak to him. Peter Kay has upset a lot of people on his way up, expect a lot of knives in his back on the way down.

I loved Phoenix Nights(still do) and I wanted to like Max and Paddy so much. It was painfully obvious that Spikey and Fitzmaurice didn't help write it. It might not have been so shit if they had. I can't remember feeling as let down so much over a series/film since Highlander 2.

I know what your saying, but it was still laugh out loud funny, the trouble is that with doing that peter kay thing and phoenix nights he set a very high standard and you cant help but compare
