Got a mate who owns a shop in Stockport and he's just taken in a range by a company called Musto. He also says that Oi Polloi in town and Originals in Barnsley have bought some too.....gonna be the next big thing....

Peter Storm??? Sounds a tad gay or perhaps seventies pornstar. I'll stick with my Craghoppers and its 'event' waterproof, breatheable, windproof smart fabric, thank you very much.

Mines Craghoppers. Great coat but not quite worth the £375ish I paid. Always losing stuff but it turns up at a later date in one of the twenty or so zippered pockets.

I used to work in Millets and it was basically my job to tell everyone that came in that Peter Storm jackets are just as good, if not better than North Face and Berghaus ones. Word of advice, don't get a cheap Peter Storm jacket! Although I don't buy any of the three, I've been faced with a lot of complaints over them and reguarly had to deal with refunds.

If you want a jacket to last you and be well worth the money you paid, don't get Peter Storm. They're Millets own and are shockers. They lack all the features you get and need in a Berghaus and North Face jacket. The berghaus ones retail at around £179 don't they? I used to get a lot of keen campers and walkers talking to me for hours on end about how shit Peter Storm jackets are and I wouldn't get one if you are gonna be using it reguarly. North Face are the best value for money, and will last a lot longer providing you buy the right cleaners and proofers. Hope it helped, even though it depressed me reminissing my days at Millets...*shivers*

somewhere I still have my decades old Advent red ski jacket, sorry about the colour, but they only made them in red only... the label's faded, but it used to say 'conceived, designed, and even manufactured in the UK'.

Musto is a very old, staid ,stuffy ,yachting brand that has been worn by pseudo-toffs at regatta's and suchlike for ages. lts often sold in places like Garden centres, if it takes off amongst the young trendy set, l will be amazed.
