2nd half we started to move the ball quickly and got our reward. Splendid performance from Grealish, showing great control of the ball on a shitty pitch.
Foden playing from deeper was good as well

Started out a bit crap, gradually got better. Great ball from Foden and goal from Grealish. Mahrez didn't have a good game today but still scored and should probably be in the conversation for our player of the season by now.

Not enough quality in the final third at the moment but two high quality goals were enough to get the job done.

It is really difficult though when so many opponents are in and around their own box. No other team faces this level of bus parking.

Tough game on a dogshit pitch. Picked up after the break great goals from Mahrez and Grealish, superb away support as per. Foden also dynamic in centre mid.

Hope we improve on Sunday.

Foden ready to start playing in the middle. Tracked ball well to defend a possible goal. Wouldn’t mind that energy alongside Bernardo in the derby with Kev further up.

Not the greatest of matches by any stretch but the lads went through. Kudos to Zinchenko. He’s probably not in the best state of mind to be playing but the game would’ve done him some good.

So....a strong City side playing bottom of the table Peterborough who hadn't won since December. A nice stress free evening, a chance for is to rack up some goals, a few out of form players get their form back. How wrong could I be?? A truly awful performance, no wonder Ake and Dias were hooked at half time they were dreadful but so was everybody.

We are worryingly flat. Slow, ponderous, players out of form. I couldn't relax until the second goal went in and even then we had our scares. A forgettable game with only three highlights. Fodens pass and the two finishes. We won that is all.

Better in the second half, as we were against Everton, so at least we are raising the level when we need to. But the first half was poor.

Great touch from Grealish for the goal, has to be said.

Big losers tonight were Dias and Jesus. Dias hasn’t been great for a while and he’s third choice centre back on current form in my book. Jesus was miles off it, and I can’t see him being here next season to be honest.
