Petrol

310 Miles from a 55ltr tank.

And I drive a 1.2 Vauxhall Corsa... Shite Engine, weighs a ton(and a bit more). Gives me 30mpg, or 6.59mpl which means at 800 miles a month, uses 121.3 litres per month at an effective price of £156.60 per month. piss poor.

I get over 60mpg from my ancient hatchback if I drive it at a constant 55 mph on long motorway trips.

That's just over 13 miles per litre or just under 10p per mile.

If I go at 70mph I get about 35 miles per gallon so when I can I set off in plenty of time and nearly halve my petrol costs.

Official figures given out by the manufacturer say 74.5mpg. My trip statistics screen says I'm getting around 50mpg on the usual urban drive.

130L tank I think about 600km.

A question.... You talk of litres and Km's, yet you also mention 2x4's and 4x8's. Is your lumber and sheet goods in metric or imperial, just curious

Imperial mate, the only thing I can think of that is sold in metric in the trade, off the top of my head, is rebar and vapour barrier.
