I enjoyed your time at City and whilst your ability as a left back left a lot to be desired, I respected you as an attacking player and wish you the very best.

As for those who complain about him being 'moody', no one liked Benjani because he smiled a lot.

We can't have players who are too happy or too grumpy (or just plain evil looking), we're trying to build a balanced squad.

Still remember after the game that City lost to Thailand during the Asia tour. Petrov, looked extremely disappointed with the result, sat quietly with Bojinov on the bench in the empty stadium for almost 20 minutes after the match, while Sven and his tourist team mates disappeared through nightlife in Bangkok right away after the whistle blew.

Sad to see him go and sad to see some City fans always slag him off without valid reason.

that`s it , Petrov always care about the team , that`s why he looked unhappy when the team didn`t performed well and most of our team didn`t care about it
like most of the mercenaries we now had , they came here for the money . I preffer players who didn`t care so much about the money like Dunne , Richards , M . Johnson . Irleland , Petrov , Bojinov and so on. I preffer them over the mercenaries we now had , would they came in if we didn`t have that much money . No affoure ! . City players must play with their hearts and not with their wallets !
