Petrov any good?

Give him a target man and you should get a good showing from him,
Defensive duties have never been a big thing in Petrov's game.

He only has one move to get past people. Kick it and run, although this is effective against lower oppositions against top teams i think he will struggle. Some of his crosses yesterday were class though, would definitely have been put away with Adebayor playing

He did a good run when he first came on but his passing was a disgrace. He did a couple of cross field balls that were shite, he gave the ball away a lot. But he give us an outlet and also caused them problems.

Petrov played very good for his lacking match practise which is Hugges fault , he should start more often

I disagree. I do believe he was good when he came on but he was certainly not MOTM, and he left Bridge exposed once or twice not that it mattered considering our situation. Its simple. I don't like Petrov because his hearts not in it. When you make comments publicly saying you want to go to Spurs then it is hard for a fan to take. I do get behind him nonetheless but I am sick and tired of him pulling out of tackles when I would die to play in that shirt.

I missed the Spurs quote, where did you see that?

Going forward he was wonderful yet again. With Ade or RSC up front he'd be devestating.

Shame that he gave the ball away in our half at least three times - and we were lucky not to be punished. He appears to be trying more with the tracking back - maybe it's just too late for him to start being more defensively aware.

Completly agree, thought his passing was terrible last night, but his pace and crossing caused them problems. Can't wait to see him putting balls in the box for Ade or RSC though.

He gave away the ball twice within 30 seconds. He flicked the ball inside without looking (this is a habit of his) which put them on the attack in the final third which we snubbed out and the ball was played back to him and he headed it straight back to them again putting them on teh attack in the final third. A better team would have punished us.
Going forward he looked good. seems to have got his pace back.
would love to see him get a regular run out but he needs to get the passing without looking out of his game.
To say he was man of teh match is CRAZY

I thought he did well tbh, put in some very dangereous crosses that would have been tooked away if Ade and probably RSC were playing.

The two biggest cheers bar the goals were for him coming on and Bellamy's name being announced, so I can't wait for Robbie to come back now knowing he has to fight for his place and hasn't just got in the team because of his name, I'm hoping to see a new improved Robbie. Brilliant we have all these options.

Petrov was absolutley dreadful... gave the ball away all the time.. runs down the wing...then crosses to no one.. lazy... mard arse...
walks .( sulks off ) at the end of the game.. whats all that about....
Cant wait for him to leave.
