Petrov Celebration !

pisses me off his celebration! he scored an awesome goal and then goes and pisses me off!

How dare he! ;)

I don't think it's "out of order" as such, I just wish he'd cheer up - if I scored for City last night I'd still be cartwheeling now!!

Petrov has a right to be a little bit pissed. He has been brilliant for city and deserved his chance after his injury. Personally i think he is better than robbie on the wing and gives us much more width and pace 442 just suits us a lot better. Why has he got an attitude ??? because he knows he can contribute to the team. He has ether scored or assisted in every game hes played. Honestly it will be hard to replace any of the players that played last night.

On a seperate note what was up with Barry last night??? He looked drunk

Wasn't it him and Ireland that had stomach bugs? Think that'd explain it...

On the subject of Petrov's celebration... I don't mind it at all, and more to the point it seems like Hughes doesn't either. So what's the problem? He was back to his best last night which is fantastic news and means Robinho can take his time and get his ankle sorted properly.

With such sumptuous options and performances, I suppose some people just have to look for something to complain about eh?

great cross for the tevez goal and he took his well.ive never been a big fan of his because i think his workrate can be a bit suspect and i detest the way he pulls out of tackles.he even injured himself jumping out of a tackle last night.put ur foot in u big pansey and as for the celebration, its directed at hughes i dont care what u say but remember mr petrov ur not as good as u think u are.

As long as he carries on playing out of his skin he can celebrate any way he wants - even Robbie Keane style sommersaults would be acceptable.

Some of you on here really need to give your head a wobble. All Petrov did was point to his name and proved his point with the performance. Considering some of the many antics of Shrek and Tronaldo have given us over the years make Petrovs seem very very mild to say the least.
Hughes pretty much agrees with him and has no problems with it so get over it.

for the idiot who posted the thread , the Petrov celebration means , my name is Petrov and i think you forgot me , remeber the name Petrov i got lot to offer so don`t stick me on the bench without playing me at least as a sub because as you can see i play very good

I have been really thinking about this and re-running the celebration on you tube. If you look carefully you will see the chap in the orange hat three rows behind Hughesy. He's the bloke that prints the shirts and Martin is merely pointing out that REV-POT is not, in fact the correct spelling of his name.

Anything else anyone would like clarity on, please do not hesitate to ask.....

He always points to his name when he scores!!

We all know what he was up to and in his first year he never did it towards the manager !

He needs to watch out thats all im saying because its not like we need to fight hard to keep him ! we will just buy a better replacement
I agree with the OP,well done for posting it. It is a very self indulgent way of celebrating.

Thank you Monaco. Once again you said it right.

If he scores a hat-trick against Villa on Monday he could run into the crowd and slap me across the cheek with his love truncheon. Not arsed how he celebrates, as long as he keeps getting the opportunity to celebrate.

I think you are all missing my point !

I never said i dont want him to score because i want him to score a hatrick everygame which would mean city doing better but there is no need for him to be so pettulant about not being played because we can all agree robinho is a better player than petrov and if robbie is fully fit he will play instead of martin and Petrov is coming to the end of his career in top flight and needs to do what he is told to do when asked.

And i know for a fact hughes wont take this stuff lightly and just like he did with Elano he got shut of the trouble causing little gobshite !

And all of you saying that Hughes said he doesnt mind need to just think with everything being all hunkydory at the club at the moment hughes wont be saying publicy for us all to see that martin will be getting in trouble. I think martin would have been in hughesy's office this morning for a little chat that is all

I dont agree with that, Id rather have Petrov left wing than Robinho.

He's a moody fucker but who cares, if he carries on playing like that and scoring wonderful goals and assists he can be as miserable as he wants, it doesnt matter a jot, get off his back FFS

I was actually in agreement with the OP until I saw Petrovs reaction when Tevez scored his first goal. He was fuckin pumped nearly went as nuts as I did, so for him to give that reaction at the site of a teamate scoring, im sure hes committed.

Yes, Petrov, you are a complete bastard and now that Micah is not in the team another whipping boy is needed.

No-one played shit so unlucky, it's you. The old "bad attitude" routine. You should be used to us needing someone to blame any future defeat on. In the absence of someone having a bad game, you are first on the list.

How dare you want to play and battling for your place after showing time and again what you can do for City in the past.
this^^^^^^^

He played well but he wasnt amazin. So many times he got caught where he couldnt use his left foot and he ran of ideas. He never even tries to stick his foot in for a tackle. And we probs should've had a fourth but he didnt pass to Bellers in the 2nd when bellers was open.

What the fuck is wrong with people on here? So he scored a goal and pointed at his name? It's not like nobody's ever done it before, as long as he scores a few goals he can pull his pants down and point at his rink piece for all I care.
