Definitely the worst thread ever. They guy played exceptionally well, set up one goal, scored a peach, tracked back, helped others keep their concentration when needed (anyone see him shove Bridge back into defense when he was arguing about a throwin whilst WestHam were getting on with it) and was close to being our MOM. Yet we still have some folks who need to fnd fault. Honestly I despair at some folk.

It should take a lot more than some pointing at a name in a goal celebration to merit any criticism amongst supporters.

Sorry if already been posted but just want to say that Petrov did it again last night ! he scored then basically give hughesy the middle finger by waving his name towards hughesy.

Now i can tell you now that petrov you dont have the right to wave your name about having a pop at hughesy because you are not the best winger in the world and we will sell you without second thought if you keep behaving like a spoilt little prick ! There a plenty of better wingers out there that would be willing to come and play for city and you would be out of the door so get your head down and play when you are told to play !

You had a decent game last night and lets hope it continues but you need to cut the crap out because you will be gone very soon if you keep behaving like that !

Spot on.Sure he even conceded a free kick second half after tracking back as I remember thinking "he's one dirty bastard that Petrov".
If he'd have grabbed a second near the end would have had a very good claim for MOM.

wow some morons in this thread, petrov is a quality player and has been pointing to his name to make asure everyone knows who he is, he clearly loves himself a bit but which footballer doesnt he just shows it that way, hes a flamboyant winger, very good, cultured, gets a few goals and gets his fair share of assists and when hes played consistantly has been one of your better players, and like many said if he keeps this form up he cud suck mike tyson off infront of my mam for all i care.

i personally love the guy, the haters out there give over, a city player who been one of our better players for 2 seasons, when hes not been injured u need to get a grip lads, for me robinho hasn underperformed and is gonna struggle to make the squad every game when hes back, hes a top player no questions asked. If there is anyone who has commitment issues its that fella, i say sell him to barca for 25mill and buy "KUN" and for u ill educated out there that Sergio Aguero who plays for Atletico Madrid, amazing player, If not him then David Villa.
