Petrov on City on SSN

Dear oh dear!
I Really fail to see why so many blues failed to see through Petrov.
He arrived full of pace and promise, always looking great but too many times flattering to decieve. Typical Nicky Reid type (without Reid's balls or backbone of course) when going forward, head down, arse out, brain out of gear.
I liked him, but he would always prove to be too inconsistant and unreliable. On his day, 1 in 4 or 5 games he could make a difference, and particularly when put up against a poor full back, but no team with genuine top 4 aspirations would be able to accept his sort of irregular performance.
His greatest problem (other than being an antisocial, moaning and back biting little woman) was gods failure to attribute him with testicles. He would chicken out of any situation where he could not put daylight between himself and any prospective challenge.
His crosses, though agreeably difficult to defend against, were not those of a skillful and measured or intelligent player, more just balls blindly hammered towards the box.
He, from my perspective, could have remained a usefull squad player who on desperate occasions, could be used against specifically weak/tired defenses, causing them a different type of problem, but never any more than a bit part player.
His ego must be enormous, no doubt he is his own greatest fan, he as far as I'm concerned he is very dissrespectful to other players in our team, when as many lazy/cowardly players do, only puts in the effort when he thinks he needs to, to assure him of selection in the next fixture, but then comments about how he has been unfairly treated if subsequesntly dropped or benched.
If he feels in his mind he's done enough to secure a place, he will also go missing, only making an effort if it involves a risk free run after a gilt edged pass put through for him on a plate for him.
As a is person, he is clearly an elitist with no belief he owes anybody anything, it seems maybe a trait with several players from Bulgaria?
He has gone to a team where they do not suffer either fools nor chickens and though I feel in the short term he will appear a brilliant aquisition on a free, he will I'm certain, in the not too distant future, cause problems after being twatted in training by someone like Kevin Davies.
His personal attack on Hughes I felt was very unprofessional and his latest outburst about City is just further evidence that we have made the correct decision, 'good riddence to bad rubish'.

Give the guy a break, he was a good player when he was in form and you can tell he didn't want to leave the club.

Does anyone else think he might regret taking only 1 day to consider the Bolton deal?

Him and Given are/were our worst ever players.

Petrov had little defensive ability whilst Given's goal drought is now a real source of embarrassment.

Don't forget about Robinho's tackle ratio

I don't get why everyone is having a go at him?!

He's a class winger, one of the best we've ever had at the club! Stop being such bitter bastards and grow up, Jesus.

He's pissed off because when he played, he scored and played well, yet found himself on the bench far too often. So he's rejected another year of being on the bench with us, took a pay cut, gone to a mid-table team for first team football. What's wrong with that?

Communication does seem to be a problem too. For example, SWP's contract talks, Ireland not knowing whether he's in the plans or not, Onuoha getting the feeling that Mancini doesn't like him etc.

One good game etc? Really? We really do have some bitter fans on here.
I disagree with you totally. The players you mention (SWP, Ireland and Onuoha) probably do not have a future at this club anyway so they are the ones that are bitter because they know that the success that we are definitely going to get, will pass them by. It's unfortunate but true.

ive had Given first goalscorer nearly every game, hes cost me a bomb. no where near worth the 9 mill we paid :)

typical slav, we shouldnt get involved with them(no kolarov). just look at how vidic is treating the rags, if someone splashes him some money, he will leave in a second.
why do you think russian girls are the biggest whores in europe?

PMSL one of the best the club's ever had, don't know about that one.

Petrov, whilst a good player believes his own hype, he really thought he was by far the best winger at the club which is why he was a little shit towards Hughes then Mancini, the way he always directed his shirt to the bench when he scored, rather than celebrate with his team mates prove's his bad attitude.

Whilst thank you for the service Martin have a little respect and move on.
