To be fair to him, he did seem to be doing a lot more grafting today. Have to agree re. his set pieces though; very disappointing. Took his goal excellently though.

Plus I wouldnt put Weiss through the torture of playing for some of our 'fans' to be honest, couple of bad games, bad decisions etc and he'd be shite, too young etc etc etc. TBH if I was advising him, I'd be advising him to fuck off ASAP.

I think that's taking it too far but the OP is simply wrong.

he is class...some people seem to forget he was out for the latter part of last season with serious injury...and he's had the sum total of 2 games this season, in which he has scored 2 and set up another :S

I can't believe it took this long for someone to point out this simple fact!

I have to confess that I only managed to see the last 25 minutes of the match today, but one of the most noticeable aspects in my opinion was that Petrov was actually working really hard for the cause. He was tracking back, although he doesn't know how to make a tackle, but he was making the runs and being an extra body helping out. I do wonder if people just post with an agenda without having watched any of the match or whether they just prefer to ignore the evidence of what they have just witnessed?

he also scored one time and created around 10 goals opotunity for his teammater
