Petrov - Someone please explain why he didnt play.

OK, you obviously disagree but I just don't see what Petrov has to his game that Bellamy and Shaun don't, except maybe a better cross ?

All 3 have Pace...I wouldn't say that Petrov is that much faster than the other 2, if at all.

I wouldn't say he's particually faster either, normally. But when a still not match fit Wright-Phillips was running low it would of been a good time to make a change, switching Bellers to the right maybe.

I agree . When I saw petrov Ireland and Ade all on bench I couldn't believe it. Petrov or Ireland had to start. Ade needs to get match fit asap we had nothing in the middle all game.

Please READ the replies that people have posted. Not one of them says 'Petrov is shit'....they may say he is a 'shit-bag' but that's completely different. I think the majority of people are simply stating that he is not suited to a physical encounter. If it's a game where he's gonna get time and space on the ball then no doubt he is one of the better left wingers in the league, but having said that he still needs more variety to his game.

As for Robinho...how about just 'not suited to English football'. I don't think that will ever change. He's best off sticking to Rio De Janeiro Beach football.
