PFA Awards | De Bruyne and Foden win POTY and YPOTY

How is Son anywhere near that? If I just take my Blue glasses off for a second, I’d feel a bit hard done to if I was Martinez. He’s had an incredible season, but I guess he doesn’t have a winners medal.

I'm 90% certain most of the voting takes place in March, at least that's what happens in normal years.

Cancelo would just have been ending his real strong run of form around then.
Deadline this year was 14th May I believe - PFA were forced to get with the times and switch to an online voting system which meant the window could be extended beyond the usual cut-off point.

I have always wondered why the deadline is so early in regular seasons though when there’s still so many games to play.

It’s a weird one with keepers isn’t it. However much we love Ed and pleased he’s in the team his clean sheets record is as much down to the team in front of him, if not more. Not looked at stats but wouldn’t be surprised if Martinez made more saves. At least he got Villa’s player of the year (I think).

Son instead of Foden makes no sense, even spurs fans think Son’s been shite since christmas

Foden is nominated for both POTY and YPOTY and yet isn’t In the best XI?

Maybe they voted for each category separately and like to spread the love around?

Or maybe Pep picked the team because there is no DM!
