PFA Back Tevez

according to the guardian naming the twat as sub is enough. He doesn't even have to come on. He only needs 3 more sub appearances this season to nullify FIFA's rule and he can be forgotten about.
And as soon as he is forgotten the better.
I'm really sick to death of hearing his name now.

Corinthians want him so they can make money on him, everyone wants to make money him at city,s expense, still think his destination after his next move is chelsea, as for that Tameside united fan Taylor perhaps some of our guys who shelled out hundreds to go to Munich should sue Taylor for being short changed, because the way I look at it any football supporter who buys a ticket to watch a team should be able to expect to see every player who is available, Taylor makes my blood boil especially after his comments about the kaka deal then backing the ronaldo one, Taylor is the enemy of every English football supporter!

City will insist on a big sell on clause so no need to worry about this.

I agree fully, but what if Tevez's side say thats illegal and more than likely get the PFAs backing where would we stand then. Taylor has definitely changed his tune, i wonder why!!!!!!!
Well perhaps KIa sent him on a lovely trip or gave him a lovely time somewhere and as he is a really ugly twat he might have had some company too all care of lovely wholesome KIA. Such a nice chappy ! Taylor really is the epitome of a creepy Twat

Mail tomorrow says we may play him once more to stop him leaving for nothing.
that will be an interesting game!

The rule is very badly worded. There would undoubtedly be a legal dispute as to whether a 2 min sub appearance would count or whether the rule refers to 10% of total playing time

Since Munich I've said that if Tevez ever steps on the pitch in a City shirt I would leave the ground. I suppose I could tolerate him coming on for a couple of mins just to get round the rule but it seems a dangerous road to go down. It would be very unsettling for the rest of the team to have a player on the bench solely for financial purposes. It just wouldnt be right.

I also wonder if the attitude of City fans would change if he came on and scored? Remember 1/2/06 when City fans booed Joey Barton and sang "only one greedy bast*ard" after he'd handed in a transfer request? That lasted all of 13 mins until he set up a goal and was immediately forgiven. Could that happen again?

Can someone please post this in the right place. As a new member I cannot start new threads yet.

I found this article in the New Zealand Herald about Tevez. Best piece I have read about the situation.

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.nzherald.co.nz/sport/news/article.cfm?c_id=4&objectid=10762363" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.nzherald.co.nz/sport/news/ar ... d=10762363</a>

hope the link works, if not the headline is Soccer : Star consumed by hated for the game. Thanks

The more I read about this, the more absurd it seems. To pick a player for purely financial reasons is just wrong. Imagine Mancini's team talk "You've all earned the right to wear this shirt, go out and give your best. Except you Tevez, you're only playing so that you cant sue the club".

And what does he say to the player sent to the stands or left on the bench "I keep telling you Adam that if you want to play regularly you must work harder and become more consistent. Or you could go on strike and threaten to sue the club".

The idea's repugnant.
