I'd love to see if Delph was counted as a midfielder or defender tbh as I think he's been consistently better than Alonso this season.

I think Delph is a tad unfortunate not to have made it in but perhaps did not make enough appearances to seal that deal.

When you get nminated for both Player of the Year and also Young Player of the Year but not the team of the year shows what a mockery these awards are. While I'm really happy that Aguero has finally been included I'm really not sure he should be ahead of Sané.

Oh he should. According to whoscored.com's ranking, which are not a bad guide, Sergio is the 2nd best player in the league this year, behind KDB. Sane is currently 10th and Raz 6th.

Interestingly, Hazard is third but has gone under the radar a bit this year. However, that is one of the reasons I would make him a priority target for City to try and buy.

Alonso has scored/set up a fair few, so is a reasonable choice for a position with few notables.

Otamendi's recent errors were probably after the voting was done, but he's been very good for most of the season.

I think most would have guessed about 8 or 9 of the XI.

Only 1 for me is Fernandinho but can see why Eriksen was picked

De Gea spot on if not for him rags would be 5th at best.

Alonso could be questioned maybe had Delph not had so many injuries he'd have made it.

Surprised at Kun but it's about time.
