Set a good example to who exactly? These guys earn a fortune for maybe 15 years of their lives.. sums that I would imagine 99.99% on this forum can only dream of..they not only have to perform as elite athletes but have to set a good example..why are players like Vinny Zabba,The King so admired ?? Why is Yaya not a legend, because frankly he should be ??..it is because he got distracted and influenced by a total idiot.
Frankly I admire Pep for drawing a line in terms of behaviour. He is tough but rightly so. Phil in particular needs to grow up and understand his responsibility. Iceland, turning up hungover (possibly). A homegrown talent that we all want to be a legend. Legends are not just brilliant players but set an example..look at Gascoigne as to how it may turn out.
Said it in the Grealish thread already — the way some of you are reading into a 5 second shot of a conversation on the bench can only be compared to the weird types of over-analysis into non-events that we regularly take the piss out of the scousers and the scum for.Just wondering what Pep will think of them joking and grinning like school kids whilst sat on the bench yesterday ? They both looked carefree and happy as though they got away with a childish prank and it smacked of arrogance and disrespect of the club to me.
The last thing we need is a pair of jokers hitting the headlines for the wrong reasons on a regular basis. I don't dislike Grealish or want him out but if he cannot keep his nose clean and stay out of the headlines then the club will probably take a hit on his fee and offload him. I can't see him being given many more chances tbh.
I reckon Pep will think, thank fuck them two lads are enjoying the performance. Unlike those miserable bastards on bluemoon.Just wondering what Pep will think of them joking and grinning like school kids whilst sat on the bench yesterday ? When did you work at the plant and what did you work on?i wouldn't have got up for that LOL
I want them sat there like professional footballers reflecting on why they're sat on the bench. There wasn't an ounce of remorse between them.Said it in the Grealish thread already — the way some of you are reading into a 5 second shot of a conversation on the bench can only be compared to the weird types of over-analysis into non-events that we regularly take the piss out of the scousers and the scum for.
You want them to sit there with a face like a smacked arse after we’d just scored and were dominating a game? As if that wouldn’t lead to even more headlines about attitude problems? They saw something that made them laugh, who gives a shit, the suggestion that Pep would be annoyed at them smiling is actually absurd.
Incredible the amount of psychological analysis you can do over a 5 second shot of the bench, have you considered a career at Talksport or the Sun?I want them sat there like professional footballers reflecting on why they're sat on the bench. There wasn't an ounce of remorse between them.
Good manners and respect are still free i believe. Well they were when i was their age.
I think Pep is far too professional to play their shit down. His way or the highway.I reckon Pep will think, thank fuck them two lads are enjoying the performance. Unlike those miserable bastards on bluemoon.
If Pep had any issue with this so called "arrogance" or "disrespect" then they wouldn't have been sat there.
