Richly deserved. And he's one of our own.
It's a shame Palmer didn't stay but would have been unlikely to have won YPOY if he had because his playing time would have been limited (rightly so btw).
It's a huge shout out to the Academy and should give any your player no doubt to the fact City can give the best chance of becoming a professional footballer.
The Academy hardly ever gets the recognition it deserves outside of us and tbh, all you ever read is " no chance of making the first team etc"
The Player of the year and Young player of the year are from Stockport and Wythenshawe and trained by our Academy, fantastic.
