Anyone think he would be a top squad player?, i really rate him highly, heard about his performances and after watching his last 3 everton games i can see what the fuss is about, he's brilliant, would it be wrong not to have him becvuse he isn't a ''big name'', or will we have a team of a mixed bag of players

i think Jagielka is a big part in Everton's being where they are on the table. he'd be a satisfactory signing but perhaps there would be better options this summer.

Two words.Mikel Arteta.apparently can register as English soon which fits nicely with the 5+6 rule mentioned in the Wheater thread :-)

yeah if we're gonna sign an everton player, Arteta would be the choice, even though he's tended to spend a lot of time injured.

Jagielka is a class player; i think the Everton fans on here would vouch for that.

I hope Ned gets given an oppourtunity to stake his claim for that position - Micah Kompany Onuoha Bridge/A. Nother would be the back four i'd be happy to see start next season... Although i think that Micah/Onuoha and Bridge are all canidates for new players to be brought in, in thier position.

Jagielka is as good as Everton have got, gives 100% every game and can cover a variety of positions. Not a player i beleive would be top of our list but certainly not one to turn our noses up at.

Hello City fans, Everton Fan here.

I can honestly say that i don't think there has been a more consistent centre back this season, he has been absolutely immense. Not sure how much it would take to prize him away from goodison, but whatever you spent would be money well spent. Strong, good in the air, reads the game well, brave, heart of lion. you name it he has it. Regarding Mikel Our-teta, again once he was moved into his favoured position in the middle of the park he has been brilliant. A massive loss for us now he is out for 6-9 months. Cant believe he has not been called into the Spain squad yet, its a disgrace.

I hope Jagielka isnt 'fashionable' enough for you and he stays with us.
