He was on 5Live a couple of years ago talking about suffering from depression and being very tactful about having to find his own support and treatment.

That comment shows more about the shit hole of a club he signed for, he was built up to fail by their so called greatest manager, who helped to hang him out to dry. Having said that he could have left them years ago, claiming depression, but kept taking the money

I find it hard not to respect anyone with that level of commitment, tbh. Yes the face, yes the comedy falls, but if the rest of the team showed even half the commitment to crawl around and head the ball on the ground when a foot could easily have been kicking it, they would have been twice the team.
