Philippe Sandler

He's been very unlucky with injuries, was never likely to make it here but could have made us a tidy amount of money had he stayed fit and made a name for himself. he looks very good on the ball. Unlikely were going to get a fee for him now unless we give him a new contract first. Wouldn't be surprised to see or against us letting him leave on a free this summer and get a sell on clause added in lieu of a fee.
I said Sandler is going the same way as Roberts and Denayer
We buy young players, and then farm them out on loan with no intention of them ever playing for us (show me an example to the contrary)
City has even received an offer where it can recover its money (Roberts and Celtic) but City refuses and the lad's career is spiralling downwards
As I said, I think it's immoral what City does with young players
They're treated as commodities, not as people
the intention is for them to develop into a player capable of playing for us, but you need to be one of the absolute best for that to happen, we take gambles based on our ability to spot undervalued potential, buy them, develop them at other clubs and hope we find the one in a million player who proves good enough for us but with the fallback of them making City money if not. It's a very sound and highly successful business model.

Here's Roberts story

And here's Denayer
Four clubs in five years with City having no interest in playing him but making things so difficult for the lad

Really? You're using Denayer as an example? City 'made it difficult for the lad?'

So fucking difficult that we paid his legal fees after he nearly kicked a man's head off in a brawl?

Don't think Zinchenko was ever loaned out. He refused .
Think you're mixing up when we were looking at selling him to Wolves (pretty sure it was a sale), he turned them down and told us he wanted to fight for his place. There's a lot to admire about mini Kev.

Feyenoord is a great move tbf, Raiola has done well getting him there considering his patchy career so far
Ha, it didn't say in the previous page, a Dutch team was always going to take a chance on him, talented but so injury prone to be unbelievable.

But yes, a great last chance for the lad, hope he makes it.

Good luck to him, a good move all round as he was way down the pecking order for us. Hopefully he can stay injury free and kick start his career.
