Ultimately people have paid to watch the game and can do what they like.

Still annoying when people infront block your view by videoing the game. Enjoy the game and the moment with your own eyes.

When Haaland was stepping up for the pen yesterday there were lots of people videoing on their phones round block 209 area.
Its not as if you cant watch better coverage of the highlights online not long after the game finishes.

I remember going to Nation in Liverpool and they used to confiscate cameras off people before smartphones existed.

I genuinely believe phones will be sent a jamming signal to prevent photos being taken in certain directions within this century. The football field will be that area. The technology is there. Just asking WTP in China.

Wow! Just picked it up on City +, and that is truly magnificent. For once, the communications boys got it spot on. And I actually think the phone lights in a darkened stadium, before k.o., accompany it very well. No objection to that.

10 is perfect for a lot of kids. Its a struggle for my 7 year old to keep any attention going for 90 mins

My girl is 10 and up til 6 months ago she had zero interest in the footy but now shes hooked! Knows all the players, begs to come to the match

Agree, mine were nine and eleven when I started taking them and it was the right age, not just for appreciating the footy in the flesh for a full 90 mins - which doesn’t come naturally to the generation that consumes a lot of footy through YouTube and gaming - but also for the life lessons you get from a match day. It was also the right time for me as I finally had the disposable income to make it regular without worrying. I think parents, middle aged and older fans are playing a big part in keeping match going alive, it’s the big groups of young people where you get the gaps as the game is just no longer geared for them. So if they want to get their phones out at 70mins let them enjoy it their way - some, when they have kids of their own and the spare cash to make it happen more regularly, will come back again and again and make Blues for life.
