'Phone torches last night....

Most of the stuff that happens at the football is copied from somewhere. Did you complain when we copied the Poznan from Poznan fans, who themselves copied it from another club? Or when we incorporated "Singing aye aye yippee yippee aye" into "If you hate Man United clap your hands" after hearing Sunderland fans sing it at Roker Park in 1990? Or do you just have an issue with this because it's Celtic?

We were singing 'if you hate man utd ' since I was a kid in the 80's

Can you not read? Let me spell it out - I'm fully aware that we'd been singing "If you hate Man United clap your hands" but we didn't add "Singing aye aye yippee aye" into that song until the week after we drew 1-1 at Roker Park in November 1990 where we'd heard the Sunderland fans singing it in their "If you hate Newcastle" version. When it started up on the Kippax the following week, you knew exactly who had been at Sunderland the week before.

Neither of those things you mentioned 'stand out' when they are just ripped off from another club we've played a short time before. Hardly the mancunian way is it?

Even bluemoon is debatable, ok so we can mention a small handful of things that are original, but it doesnt give us enough to go at. If we only sang songs or did things only seen at the etihad we wouldn't move at games.

We live in a day an age where people would rather look over their shoulder and mock what others do rather than look at themselves. This means what ever fans do these days is copied, mocked etc.

Stop anything that gets in the way of sitting arms folded and slagging off every misplaced pass...

City fans have aged into grumpy old men.

I can read but it doesn't mean I always read what's written. Not to worry you'll get over it pal
