Photo editing software

I've just bought my mrs a camera for Christmas and wondered if anyone can recommend a cheap and very simple to use editing programme I can put on her laptop when I give it her.

Just with a few basic filters and stuff, crop, frame, colour change like b+w/sepia.

User friendly is a must.

Plenty of 'free' ones on torrent sites if you do that sort of thing, or do what i do in these scenario's......pm TCIB.

Picasa - its a Google thing so just make sure you don't download the toolbar - unless you want it of course.

I used to use Photoshop for my stuff but this is much quicker for general buggering about and the results are brilliant.
