No got enough posts of my own to start new thread so thought I put in this one

Went to Porto last week via Madrid on weds,we got the metro into centre of Madrid on our arrival weds night.
I unfortunately had the very misfortune of having my wallet stolen out of my inside jacket pocket on a packed metro,it contained my credit cards,all my euros & worse of all,the five match tickets I had for me and my mates!!!
After reporting theft to the police on arrival at our hotel on the grand via,my mates sorted me out with some euros so we went out on the piss,believe me I needed a few beers to sort my head out.the next morn we had a think and decided to phone the club to see if they could help regarding the tickets.after a few phone calls and help from Howard at reddish blues( yes I am a season ticket holder with over 8000 pts before anyone starts with the supporters clubs ticket crap),the ticket office phoned me when we landed in Porto to tell me they would have someone meet us outside the ground(thanks Steve robbo) with 5 new tickets!!!!!
A city win was inevitable after that,well done to all at city who helped us out,we've just booked for lisbon( bit of a chance I know) but money and tickets will be guarded with my life,up the bluessssss
