Physical season card - requested accepted!

Well that settles it. We'll not bother talking to the club and let them do what they want.

It's taken time to build up a relationship of trust with the senior leaders at the club. I guess you've never been in situations where you've signed NDA's or had to show you can be trusted.

It's far more important that the club think they can safely share sensitive information with us, which makes it so much easier for us to represent the fans properly and sort real problems out. I'd much rather be in that situation than the club give us meaningless platitudes all the time, as happens at other clubs.

We actually requested that we get back to minutes being released. That's what we want but they'll never contain information the club consider shouldn't be in the public domain. And it will be the same at every other club.
Non-disclosure are you having a laugh you’re supposed to be representing us there is supposed to be no secrecy between you us the fans and the club you should’ve told them to shove their nondisclosures up their arse. Publish the minutes in full otherwise there is zero point in having you. We have zero evidence to show you raise any the concerns we been having with the shocking customer service and latest ticket fiasco .And as for them doing what they want that’s exactly what they’re doing I didn’t want print on tickets I didn’t want my tickets on my iPhone I didn’t want my tickets picking up from the club I just wanted my season cards in the post like I have done the last 25 years. I want them to answer the phone and not be Cut off after two hours three days in a row what did you do about that what have you done about the season-ticket fiasco what have you done about the print at home fiasco what have you done about the stands been closed and not finding out 36 hours beforehand where am I going to be seated what have you done about the Overpriced food and drink what have you done about it the time it takes to get into the ground we don’t know because you don’t publish the minutes in full.What have you done about the price increases every year While all the clubs are frozen there’s nothing.And while I’m on it how about getting the club to reveal the results of the surveys they constantly send out to us?

Can’t argue with that if we were a football club. But we aren’t.

Can't argue with that. I know Colin and the rest do what they can but we see little evidence that the club care or want to interact.
It would be nice if Danny Wilson would at least provide an update following his initial email as to how things are going but the lack of any further communication does suggest it was nothing more than lip service. City matters have a tough job and I do feel sadly they are being used as a scapegoat by the club

There are valid points in there about the direction of travel the club has chosen but on the specific topic of the shambolic introduction of mobile ticketing and the subsequent meltdown within supporter services I think City Matters has probably been beneficial for supporters.

The feedback was that the Everton game was succesful (I attended and it wasn't) & the early games this season were also problem free. It looks like City Matters managed to persuade the club that the situation was actually dire and they were facing a crisis with supporters. The weasel words barely apologising for any 'inconvenience' aside, the club do seem to have put measures in place to improve the situation. Entrance for me today at around 2.35 via M1 was probably as smooth as it has ever been.

There does seem to be a bunker mentality at the club though, as shown by the fact that City Matters reps had to sign an NDA. WTF??? They are missing opportunities to proactively put out good news too. @Prestwich_Blue posted earlier in this thread for instance that additional turnstiles are going to be installed in the South Stand. This should be in published minutes on the official site as it is not up to individual reps to post it wherever. If they discuss anything that the club embargoes via the NDA then the reps will have to swallow that.

The bigger issues about how the club goes about its business will not be anything to do with City Matters. It is a business first and foremost, regardless of the engagement of the support base.

I've also arranged the same for an elderly family member but it's in exceptional circumstances only and absolutely at the club's discretion - no point everyone piling in thinking this will be rolled out far and wide.

Does this mean they will provide a Cityzens card non season card holders to use at the turnstile , my download did not work and had to go to the ticket office for a printed ticket today , i' sent an e-mail to customer services on Wednesday requesting a print at home option and did not even get a reply. After spending £53 i would expect a minimun of a reply , but nothing , trying to phone the club is a joke the smallest number in the phone queue so far has been number 52 , which by experience means over 2 hours waiting.
Come on City sort this out , you are also putting off casual supporters who can only afford or make a couple of games a season.
 
It's absolutely the case that it's been mandated by the PL and the clubs that had the technology were expected to introduce it immediately. Clubs that didn't have the technology have till next season, is my understanding.
So if our club do not adhere to the Premier league wishes what happens ? They kick us out , absolutely not , the club should give our supporters a choice of mobile ticketing , season cards , cityzen cards or printed tickets and inform the Premier league they are our "customers" and we decide how our business recieves funds and how we allow supporters into our ground.
