My Dad, who has a slight resemblance to Picard (hes bald, of a similar age and is an actor now hes retired) is a massive Trekkie, and once had a credit card with a Star Trek theme.
Whenever he used to pay for anything with it, he would hand the card over and say 'Make it so'!

I used to cringe with embarrassment!
 
Haha. I'm quite looking forward to this film coming out. Once went to see the Star Trek exhibition at the Hilton hotel when I was in Vegas. Must mean I'm a bit of a sad Trekkie on the quiet.

Fuck all sad about it.There are far more Trekkies than not,i reckon :-)

This is a new take on well loved character,and from the teasers so far....it looks like they have done the franchise proud.
