booked coach return and ticket for Led Zep there...Knebworth 79....bastards fecked off in the coaches before the end of the show...Bostocks in the Arndale and the mighty Yanks of course were my go-to places for rock.
When it came to dance it was Spin Inn and Eastern.
But like others I did book a few concert + coach packages from Piccadilly in the days when the biggest bands only played Wembley Arena and the NEC in Brum.

She supported Depeche Mode on the recent UK legs of the tour. Not bad I thought.
Clampdown Records is still a great shop, on Paton St just down from Piccadilly Station, Neil is a top guy and very knowledgeable……..Clampdown Records in Afflecks was paradise as a 14 year old.
Cheaper records with the corners of the record sleeves cut off. I never understood it, but...cheaper records.
