Pick the Chelsea team?

Huge strength in depth.

think we will sign a few though , our owners won't let us stand still.

strongly fancy us next year.

..........ramires.........essien/mikel.........

mata.............hazard...........sturridge/marin/oscar

..............torres/hulk?/cavani?

think mata hazard and ramires will definaely start regularly.

think they will buy a striker to compete with torres.

and think they will rotate sturridge marin and oscar.

malouda will probably go.

lampard will play a bit part, as will meireles?

I agree about Lampard, Oscar deal is yet to be finalised but surely will be this week or soon enough, Meireles has hardly cemented himself as a starting player in England has he really, Malouda seems content to fight and little interest in him currently it seems, Sturridge should surely leave if he is to play another season as a 'squaddie'.

I think we'll be lucky to get 85pts this season :)

Hopefully Chelsea will get less.

Didn't say anything on the others...

Essien-think he's seen his best years, and although he came back from a lengthy injury, his legs didn't seem the same (no pun intended).

Mikel-just a very average footballer in my humble opinion, and I don't see him as cementing himself a top prem. league midfielder anytime soon.

Ramires-showing signs of world class in spurts and over time could be great (don't know his age...?)

Marin, Mata, Hazard...surely they won't all start 38 matches, but each would for 18 other teams in the league 38 times a season (see what I did there!).

Torres...think he'll come back very strong this year, and hungry, and if he starts the first match then I see him playing 90mins many a time this year.

Lukaka seems to be the most certain to leave and may never return to England, unless he stays and gets a loan to West Ham or Reading or someone of the sort.

We will have some brilliant matches with the likes of Spurs and Chelsea the next few years.

ok thanks for clarifying that

This year, RDM has to perform.

Soaking up pressure and playing on the break, like in The Chumps League last year, will not help you win the Premier League.

The big question is can he handle all these big names? I know people said the same about Mancini, but he has previously had the experience at Inter.

If they don't get off to the best start and a few get disgruntled, does he have the wherewithal to fix it? I personally don't think so.

the disguntled one he needs to watch out for is Roman - think he was backed into a corner re RDM with the CL win, and I imagine he will be looking for the first excuse to bin him off and get someone like Pep or Huddink in

My Team is probably the closest to what we will start with (Chelsea fan)

---------------------------Cech-----------------------

Ivanovic/New RB----Luiz---------Terry--------Cole--

-------------Ramires/Mikel-------Lampard-----------

----Oscar/Hulk--------Hazard----------Mata--------

------------------------Torres----------------------

Bench: Marin, Oscar/Hulk, Sturridge, Ramires/Mikel, Cahill, Turnbull.

Others: Essien, Meireles, Malouda (probably on his way out), Bertrand, Kakuta, Piazon.

Lukaku, Mceachran, Romeu and KDB to be loaned out. Oscar may also be played as a Deep lying playmaker if we play 4-3-3. 4-1-4-1 is another formation is being rumoured to be what RDM may use.

I'm surprised some people STILL haven't realised we're not buying Hulk as a CF. he will play as RW...Also Sturridge probably won't play RW anymore but be contending for that CF spot.
