Bet the atmosphere in the ground was shit hot!

I've never ever known fans as loud! Every fan in the ground must be singing, cheering to create that kind of noise. And they certainly have it organised; Announcer gives the first name, fans shout back surname, not sure why they sing YNWA but the BVB in yellow and black squares behind their goal was impressive. What noise 80,000 fans make I dont know.
One thing I dont understand is queuing inside the ground to buy a 2.70 card to then queue again in exchange for refreshments.Programme was cheap at 1 euro, but cant understand a word of it!

Atmosphere wasn't that special to be honest, especially at the beginning. The games vs Real and Ajax were on a whole different level.

Sounds like a cracking trip and I wish I was on it.
Had to console myself with watching it on the box with some German beers

Have to get over there for the markets some day.

Loved it. Didn't think i'd ever be at a game with no segregation between English and German fans, but there was never even a hint of trouble. Ended up swapping scarves with a Dortmund fan as a gesture. Stadium is absolutely immense.

Well it looks like you had a good time despite the football, cheers for posting them
easily the best ground I have been to,far better than OT's.Just over 2 euros for those big hot dogs,Dortmund fans dead friendly, free transport from Dusseldorf to Dortmund and back with your mtch ticket.Xmas market at Dusseldorf and Dortmund.Pubs full of City fans. One hour on the plane from Leeds. Looking forward to next trip to Germany.

& no segregation on the concourses, no being kept in after the game etc (should we trial this on Sunday?)

We'd be alright but I wouldn't trust a Rag as far as I could kick the City Store!

Programmes 1 euro! Just shows what a fcking rip off football is in this country.

Bayern's is €1.50 but as a member I get it sent to my home address for free which is handy if I'm watching it on tv if I can't get to the game.
