I absolutely love dogs and this thread has been great to go through, seeing all your great dogs. Unlike people, dogs like me. When I am out nothing puts a bigger smile on my face than having a a clap of a dog. My lovely had to reign me in, because if I look at a dog and it reacts I don’t even see the owner, move in and more than once have nearly given the owner a fucking heart attack. I get over it.

The love we feel for our dogs is so strong and the pain when they get ill is overwhelming. But, we have to remember that we gave them a great life and that they give us so much more. As I get older my hatred for people who are cruel to them is total. Pathological even. They are the best animals ever and if there is ever a job of blowtorching bastards who mistreat them, I want it.
