Ha ! Yes we do, one upstairs and one downstairs. You must have experience with Goldens.

No; never had one. Border collies and a Jack Russell in the past (no pet now). But we have neighbours who've had several GRs over the years. Absolute demons for shedding, apparently. But a cracking temperament.

I know how you feel. I have to get a sitter in that my Cat knows before I go anywhere for more than a day :)
