Pictures of your Dog

So for a smaller guy he is actually a long dog :)

That’s the first I’ve heard of that! He is certainly very long even though he’s not that “big”. When he stretches out he takes up the whole sofa and holding him is like wrangling spaghetti.

Yeah...2 hounds maketh the longdog..

Regarding the noble moniker...at one point in time only the aristocracy were allowed to keep hounds, due to them being able to topple a deer ... if you had a deer to eat or trade you'd be less subservient ...so the goverment would be on the knocker to see if your mutt looked like a hound and if it did they'd cut a toe off to slow its gallop. Its how the greyhound got indoors and bred down becoming more biddable with a family about and become a whippet.

The things I learn on here! Thanks, this’ll be a good Christmas dinner conversation starter.

The Akita tolerates it. Nothing more.

These were our hounds from yesteryear They're in "Dogatory" now but still safe and sound in our memory bank.

Rottie was carrying a tyre or two owing to a penchant for Friday night Donna's. We had Chicken on pita with garlic sauce, lettuce and tomato: Kaiser had special chicken on Nan with with garlic sauce, he was a salad dodger. The westie Rexy Mcfee was whelped from the highlands of Scotand and far too civilised for kebab meat.
