Here is a shot of Bess almost exactly 2 years ago - 6kg lighter, riddled with mange, 2 years old and already the mother of three litters of pups. We are blessed to have been a part of her recovery, and her friendship with Blue is inspiring.

Family effort, of course, but Blue has shown her everything and they are incredibly close. Blue was rescued too, about 18 months before Bess.
