do you have any hot water bottles? Buy bags of ice from the supermarket and sill four hot water bottles with ice, cover with sheet and try too get her to lie on them or fill a cheap paddling pool ion the shade with cool water etc

My stepson (a hammer bless him) absolutely adores our lurcher Millie. A couple of weeks ago he came off his bike and broke his wrist; he was in terrible pain and came home from the hospital in tears cos it’s his summer ruined he reckons. He got on his bed and went to sleep so Millie went and found him and curled up with him.

My cocker doesn't like the heat either. As long as she has plenty of shade and water she should be fine. Used to go and sit in his hole that he dug (to cool down).
