a pidgeon was on the pitch and city fans were in a good mood, so we started singing about the pidgeon.
i think anyway haha, thats what happened in the south stand anyway

i remember being in the SS, and looking over at about 100 blues flapping their arms about doing "the pidgeon" lmao..
Think the game was Bolton, on the last day of the season

It was that game. The pigeon landed in the Bolton penalty area and never moved.

The City fans in the singing section were singing "Pigeon, pigeon, give us a wave", "Pigeon do the samba" and "We've got Pigeonho".

Then someone ran on the pitch from the SS, the stewards ran on and one firghtened the pigeon. The Bolton fans were then singng "Where's your pigeon gone". Amazingly it came back to the same spot a couple of minutes later and we sang "We've got our pigeon back" and "Let's all do the pigeon". As you've probably gathered it wasn't the most exciting game.

In the middle of all this Glauber Berti made his only appearance in a City shirt. Great few minutes and summed up the best bits of being a Blue.

Really enjoyed that day. Lovely weather, meaningless end of season game, three points, singing to a pigeon, people running on the pitch and the south stand knicking the ball! And the first and only appearance of Berti. Plus I remember the play off final lads coming on the pitch before the game as well. Was a good laugh that day. One of the few times I've felt relaxed and actually enjoyed watching City!
