I understand the money in the PL is great and all but there is ZERO percent chance he'll leave in January, to anyone. Dortmund are second in the Bundesliga after their poor season last year and he's been phenomenal. Why would they sell now?
Start for another CL club, or sit on the bench at City?
There are only so many great players a club can own, given there are only 11 places on the field.
If Arsenal are in for him, the fact they could offer him a starting place gives them a significant advantage.

The fact that we can offer a realistic chance of winning titles, a world class set of players to learn from, state of the art training facilities, higher wages and more than likely the opportunity to work with the most successful manager of recent times gives us a significant advantage.
People say the same shit about being on the bench about all the players who join us and are wrong 90% of the time. If Aubameyang couldn't get in a squad with an ageing Navas, unreliable Bony and a perpetually injured Aguero then Arsenal can have him to join to their list of bottlers.
