Looking at him v the rags increased my reservations about how he would fare in the Premier League. His tricks were obvious & easy to stop & his pace, so impressive in Germany, was often not quick enough to get him away from a pretty disorganised back 4.

He did show one moment of class with a flick over the keeper but that was saved & you wonder if Serge, in the same position, would have just held off the cb & buried it.

Could have been a real danger in our team but equally could have been awful.
