Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Nearly 30 goals in all competitions in 01/02...

+1

No idea though if he's going to be sold, and if so, do Real/Bayern want him, etc. Be great to sign him IMO but it kind of seems like a long shot.
So what if Real or Bayern want him? Do you think it would be the first time we've gone head to head with them or Barca and come up short every time?

Usually players go for Real Madrid or Barca. So yeah... if Real or Barca or even Bayern want him, we are immediately at a disadvantage.

The fact that we have Pep helps out quite a bit though.

Thank God we're in the CL next season!

We went head to head with bayern over kdb and won so jothing really to fear from them and by all accounts he wants to play in England!

Just because we're at a disadvantage doesn't mean we won't prevail.

If Real Madrid or Barca want a player - unless that player is extremely loyal to his current team - or unless that team refuses to sell - that player is usually gone.

Admittedly, Pep is a huge counter to this... so even if Real/Barca/Bayern want Aubameyang... I think we have a chance at signing him... provided of course he's even for sale.

Talk of Auba and Sane...
Dybala would be a better signing. Younger, can play both positions, more creative than Auba, readymade Aguero replacement when the (sad, sad) day comes, wouldn't stifle Iheanacho/Roberts as much, no AFCON nonsense, he "dreams" of playing for us, would give Pep the more compacts squad and would save money to spend on CM

Plus he's an Argie. Argies and City mix

Juve don't want to sell, he would fetch a fee close to what they want for Pogba, that quote of Dybala came in 2015 when he was desperate to leave Palermo and we, along with Barca, where one of the only 'big' clubs seriously looking at him, he has since said he is settled at Juve. To summarise; Juve dont want to sell him, he is settled at Juve and any move would be as hard to secure as one for Pogba, Im afraid its a bit of a pipe dream...
