Anyone find it odd that City briefed the media that no deals were close at all?
 
Great player. His pace and work rate are much needed in our side. The generally accepted pronunciation is O-bama-yang (like the president).

He can play out wide but is wasted there in my opinion. Played there in his first season at Dortmund to accommodate Ciro Immobile in the middle and struggled. Its only really been this season when he has excelled and that is because Immobile was loaned out and Aubameyang was allowed to play through the middle. He has made the most of Mkhitaryan's creativity and a good friendship with Reus off the pitch is evident on it when they play together. Hopefully KDB or Silva can offer similar service.

How we fit him and Agüero in the same team to get the best out of both I'm not sure. I don't feel like Kun has played well in a partnership for us but did well with Forlan at Atletico so it is possible. A problem for Pep I suppose...

And this assumes we get the deal over the line of course!

brilliant signing this....need to sort out Laporte / stones , lb and potentially more reinforcments in Mid if reports are correct that pep doesn't want Kroos or Wilshere now
